You need to find all the artifacts for the temple to move to the next level. You’ll also find upgraded spades and pickaxes that help you dig through different types of terrain and break into various natural resources.

You can get upgrades like speed and frenzy to help you do the digging faster. Use your gold to buy these at the market stall where the level begins.
